Mate Monster: Back-rank mate (1)

Good chess players are very good in spotting mating patterns. The back-rank mate is a mate that is very common when there is little material left on the board.

Real mate monster are always on the lookout for a back-rank mate opportunity.

What do you have to do?

Checkmate the king on the back rank. This may take you three or four moves, so keep calculating! If you can move two rooks to the back rank, make sure to pick the safe way. Keep in mind that you may have to give up a piece to checkmate.
