In real life, creativity is very important. Creative people make the most beautiful art and music, and they come up with the most brilliant ideas.

In chess it is a bit more complicated. Creative moves are not always good! In most cases, "healthy" developing moves in accordance with the golden rules will be the best moves. But there are exceptions and then there is suddenly room for creativity.

In the examples you see how various rules are broken, but for a good reason. There are certainly situations where you want to play the flank pawns quickly, or where the queen can come into action quickly.

What do you have to do?

Try to improve your statement. This can of course be done with 'healthy' developing moves, but you may also discover creative possibilities. In this lesson there is less strict judgment over following the golden and silver rules!
