Access to the king
Attacking in chess is not easy. The opponent's king is deep in the enemy camp, while our pieces have to cross the middle first. Still, sometimes attacking opportunities arise. Especially at times when the defenders are not paying attention, opportunities arise to attack the enemy king.
The goal of this lesson is to gain access to the enemy king. Sometimes (temporary) sacrifices must be made, at other times pieces must simply be maneuvered forward.
What do you have to do?
Try to gain access to the opponent's king. This may sometimes cost some material temporarily. Look for mate, but also be satisfied with winning material.
