By taking a piece you win material. It is nice to know a few good tricks to win material. And that is just what you are going to learn now!

This lesson is all about trapping pieces. First, you make sure that a piece has nowhere left to go. And then you take it.

There’s more than one way to trap a piece. The first trapping trick you learn makes use of enemy pieces in bad positions. They are cutting off the way for their own teammate.

What do you have to do?
Trap an enemy piece. Find a piece that has few squares it can move to and attack it.
