Defend against checkmate: capturing

Sometimes, attack is the best defence. You simply take the attacker.

Do you need to prevent a checkmate? Try to capture the attacking piece. With a bit a luck, you even win points. See example 1.

Taking the attacker does not always work. But sometimes it helps to capture another piece. This is shown in example 2.
