Mate in one, game position

In any chess game, you have to be on the lookout for mating opportunities. If you can spot one, you win the game. However, on a crowded chess board, you can easily miss the chance to checkmate the king.

When is Black checkmated?

• The black king is in check.
• The black king cannot move out of check.
• Black cannot capture the piece that gives check.
• Black cannot block the check with another piece

It is checkmate and White wins the game!

Checkmate your opponent in one move. Just like in a real game there are many pieces on the board.
