What do you have to do?
In this game, your queen has to checkmate the black king.
She gets help from her own king.
The first step is to lock up the black king. Trap him on the upper rank.


In this image, the king is behind small blocks.
Those do not stop him. He can still move forward.


Here, White’s queen is closing in on the black king.
She takes away all squares in front of him. He is locked into a prison with firm brick walls.


But the queen can’t do it by herself.
The white king must come to her help.
He moves closer to the black king. Until, at last, the kings are opposing.
Now, it’s easy for the queen to checkmate.
