Game rules

Chessity's chess trainers and game developers work hard to design entertaining exercises you’ll want to play every day. You can play all the games on four different levels.

Castle assault

Castle assault

1. Your mission is to assault the castle.
2. You need to solve 9 chess puzzles in order to reach the top of the castle.
3. You have 3 lives, so if you fail to solve a few puzzles, that's not a problem.
4. Time is essential. If you want to be first, you need to solve faster than your competitors.

Chess board

Chess board 'normal chess tactics training'

1. Solve 9 puzzles and you are ready to go the café!

2. Three mistakes means the end of the training session.

Chess box

Chess box game

1. Collect points to win this game! The most important thing here is picking the right chess boxes! Apart from solving the chess puzzles of course :)
2. Each chess box contains a chess puzzle with a different level of difficulty. In addition, we put points, bombs or free rides to success in your chess boxes.
3. A bomb means the same as making a mistake. We deduct the points; not your rating :)

4. 'Free' means you get the points for free.
5. There are some special rules if both players are waiting for each other. For example, both players fear they might select the bomb. An extra clock helps the game going forward.

One-vs-One

One-vs-One

1. Time is essential. If you want to be first, you need to solve 9 puzzles faster than your opponent.

2. Three mistakes means the end of your training session.

Tug of war

Tug of war

1. The team mission is to solve more puzzles than the other team.
2. In a team of 2 players you need to solve 4 puzzles more. In a team of 8 players you need to solve 8 puzzles more than the other team.
3. Wrong solutions will be deducted from your result.
4. If the game time is over and there is no end result, it's a draw.
