Setting up a discovered attack: threat (2)

In this lesson we will look at the first type of forcing move: the 'threat'. You will learn that with a threat you can set up a discovered attack.

With a 'threat' we distinguish between attacking a piece, a mate threat or threatening to promote. In the example we look at an attack against a piece.

What do you have to do?

Prepare a discovered attack with a threat. Then win material by performing the discovered attack or discovered check.
