Squares & defend against double attacks

In the previous lessons we have seen that by means of a special attack we can gain material by (indirectly) attacking a mating square. In this lesson and the next one we are going to use the mating square to defend against a special attack!

In this lesson we will face a double attack, but with a counterattack on a mating square, material loss can be avoided. Let's visit an example.

What do you have to do?

Prevent material loss by counterattacking a mating square.
