You can also use the special attack 'pin' when attacking a piece + a mating square. Let's refresh your memory with an example.

What do you have to do?

Look for a piece and a vulnerable square behind it on the same line (file, rank or diagonal). Found one? Then use a piece of yours to set up a pin.
