Defense: moving away (2)

Once again, we will defend a piece by moving it. Think carefully about where your piece moves to. Is it really safe there?

When there are many chessmen on the board, you have to watch out. Other pieces can be dangerous, too. If you move carelessly, one of these pieces might capture!

Now, study the example.

The more pieces on the board, the more careful you need to be.
Have you found a square where your piece can flee to? Check again: is it really safe?
Making this a habit will improve your chess pretty fast!
