Chess pieces rely on mobility to perform offensive and defensive tasks effectively. It’s often said that you can judge who has the better position by looking at the mobility of their pieces. A piece with limited mobility not only contributes less to the game but also runs the risk of being trapped! By confining a low-mobility piece, you can secure material advantage.

Find opponent pieces with limited movement. Trap these pieces by attacking and taking away their escape squares.
