Attacking 1
It is time to attack. Once your pieces are active, opportunities arise to immediately move your pieces towards the enemy king. Focusing all arrows on the king will put enormous pressure on the opponent.
It is important to realize that you can attack in many ways. Sometimes violent sacrifices work. At other times it is smarter to play subtle pawn moves. If you want to attack, it is a good idea to weaken the enemy king's position. If pawns come into contact you can break open the enemy king's position, by weakening its shelter.
Note that a kingside attack will not always immediately lead to checkmate. Nevertheless, an attack on the king can also yield material, if the opponent makes an extreme effort to save their own king.
What do you have to do?
Move your pieces towards the enemy king. Break open the king's position with your pawns. If your attack doesn’t lead to immediate checkmate, be satisfied with material gains as well.
